Abstract

The study analyzed a TikTok community centered on GLP-1 medications, focusing on the characteristics and engagement patterns of its members from May to August 2025. The community primarily included patients and health influencers documenting weight loss experiences, largely comprised of individuals aged 25-40, predominantly female and urban-dwelling. Members emphasized health, self-improvement, and community support, actively sharing interests in wellness and mental health while maintaining authenticity. The analysis revealed a niche yet highly engaged community, with predominant content formats including routine, tag-along, and review videos, alongside identified trending topics that shaped their discussions.
